Established for over 35 years in Peterborough.
Established in 1985, our instructors have over 35 years of experience in the driver training industry. Ideal Driving School is one of the longest-running driving schools in Peterborough, with thousands of learners passing with us.
Ideal Driving School has highly-skilled male and female driving instructors (see qualifications below), and teach in fully-equipped training vehicles. We aim to create a friendly learning environment with our pupils, and provide the latest learner-centered training.
We are a family-run business with an emphasis on offering a bespoke, personal approach to teaching which many other driving schools do not tend to offer.

We provide affordable driving lessons that are available 7-days a week. We also teach on weekends at no extra charge, and can offer lessons late evenings at request (see hour business hours). As well as traditional driving lessons, we also offer intensive and semi-intensive courses, to get you onto the road as quickly and safely as possible. We are also able to secure you early test dates.

Later this year, we are also planning to offer intensive late-night courses for pupils who are busier during the daytime. These driving lessons will run from 4pm - 1am. We will be the first driving school in Peterborough to offer this round-the-clock training.

We take extra care with all of our pupils who may be a little nervous about learning to drive. If you are holding back from learning for whatever reason, do not hesitate to contact us. We can address these issues professionally. Driving is for everyone.
